Scott Building Ltd were appointed the Principle Contractor for the works within this ‘A’ listed monument Stirling Castle work was carried out over several locations including the Palace and Visitors Centre while the castle remained open to visitors.
We worked with the client on the design of stone solutions to allow reconstruction of walls to meet historic requirements. Replacement of lime skew copes, lintels and copes with new stone procured and dressed by us to meet the existing.
Scott Building Company undertook structural work forming new steel supports along with wrought iron repair to roofs, new slating and lead work with associate cast iron.
